ABOUT US
Sojourn began in 1997 with a group of experienced professionals committed to a vision of inclusion and empowerment of all persons with disabilities. Sojourn believes that “inclusion begins at birth” and that public and private systems and communities must create and support options for all individuals to achieve their maximum potential as contributing members of society.

Sojourn's services for children are all family-centered, individualized, interdisciplinary, and provided in each child's "natural environments" of home, neighborhood, child care, preschool, and family activities. We "follow" each child and family where they are inclined to go, and provide needed ideas and support, rather than create new or isolated activities that may not be sustainable.

 

INFANT PROGRAMS
In our Early Start Program , we use play and the parent-child relationship to promote optimum development.

In our A Child’s Path Program , we use play and everyday routines to focus on parent-child interactions and emotional and social growth.

ADULT SERVICES
Sojourn Adult Services include, Independent Living Skills(ILS). Works with devlelopmentally disabled adults in their homes, providing the support they need to maintain or create a safe, happy, productive environment in the community in which they live.
